I like the Legacy Node

Please leave in the legacy node, for the sake of simplicity.

I like outsourcing tasks to dedicated nodes like Upscaling and im happy with the options the legacy node has. Maybe you can remame it to simple, and cut down options that are not mandatory to change for the normal user.
Im also pretty sure you could reuse the code of the advanced nodes and just make it a wrapper...
