Abandoned project #194
Comments
Hi @ibakirov You need help blocking mining? |
@ZeroDot1 thanks! |
a good alternative is to add NoCoin list to your adblocker. for issues, report here https://github.com/hoshsadiq/adblock-nocoin-list/issues |
For unknown reasons No Coin is no longer available on Chrome Web Store (#195). As it seems that the developer has abandoned this project I hope that someone will take on and continue the development as there are not too many alternatives- I am currently using minerBlock (GitHub, Chrome Web Store) but it may be abandoned too. |
Idiot! |
@smaragdus I advice to use Mozilla Firefox browser which has builtin blocking mechanism for mining scripts |
Thank you for the advice. After using Firefox for more than 10 years (since version 3) and being an ardent advocate for this browser too, I finally switched to a Chromium fork. Nowadays I use a Firefox fork only to test extensions. For me Firefox has deteriorated a lot (too much useful stuff and customization options were removed) so I am not willing to use it as default browser any more. |
Unfortunately abandoned project :( Waiting for Firefox 67 GA to use native miner blocking
