Not sure whether this is firmware related or not, but I am running a MMDVM duplex v1.3 (JumboSpot) with pistar Beta V4 RC3., firmware 1.4.16, TcXo 14 MHz.
I can get the hotspot to work fine, but after some time I loose communication with the pistar web interface. The hotspot is still functional, I can ping it fine, I can use DMR to Tx and Rx OK, but I cannot cooonect to its IP address anymore, Receiving GATEWAY error messages 502 or 504 when I try it form the component nginx web server. When I restart the hotspot I can again regain access to the pistar web interface, until it is gone again in a few minutes. Any hints? Thanks

Your problem is surely not related to MMDVM firmware or MMDVM_CM... the error you get means some issue/misconfiguration of pistar nginx web server or php (hint: you can probably find more details accessing your pistar by ssh and running: tail /var/log/nginx/error.log).
Anyway you should really post your issue at: https://forum.pistar.uk/
