Our RTD build is currently failing. As far as I can tell, it's this issue on readthedocs, caused by the release of pip 20.

I have tried to wipe our build cache, as suggested in the issue, but that's had no effect.

I suspect the only sensible thing to do is wait for a bugfix release of pip.
