Make package.json supported alongside deno.json in place of jsr.json

If a package is written with Node.js, but say we also want to publish to JSR alongside NPM, why do I need to specify things in multiple places? Is package.json ever going to be supported for publishing purposes? Why do I absolutely have to keep track of my package name and version in two separate files? What's the catch?
