implementing page: Viewport width of 1435 causes hero overlap #172

On https://variablefonts.io/implementing-variable-fonts/ a Viewport width of 1435 causes the text to overlap the background hero image at the top.

I'm not able to reproduce. Can you provide some details on browser/os combination @davelab6 ?

In general the way this was implemented needs a rethink. It doesn't scale with the content very well.
