Suggestions for matching

Hey all, so the thought would be to have the application surface a list of the top “suggestions” for a match eg tag/correspondent/type and could work for date too. I think we could still leave the auto-assignment of the highest-ranking match (or in the case of Tags maybe ranking > 90% confidence or whatever) or there could be a setting for “don’t assign matches just suggest them” or something like that.

So the workflow becomes:

• scan document, top ranking matches are assigned, lower ranking maybe 2-3 items are stored
• In the UI document edit page is updated to somehow show these “suggestions” so it becomes “one-click” to fix the match.

I’ve seen this in other DMS systems and have to admit it was pretty useful, curious what others think.
