Essentially two scoring methods
- English scoring (the old way)
- Only the person serving wins the point
- American scoring (the modern way)
- Any player can win a point (you don't have to be serving)
Games are played as a best of 3 or 5 Games are scored to:
- 11 or 15 when using American scoring
- 9 when using English scoring
