#v3
Previously the url contained all synced form values - including empty values. This behaviour caused the query params to contain keys without values and looked kind of messy.
This change is made for altering the default behaviour of the control -> query param binding and instead of adding redundant empty values to the URL, from now on the url will have only non-nullish values.
You can still get the old behaviour by overriding removeEmptyValue
for each control def you would like to keep syncing
empty values from the control to the query params.
#v2
Previously the twoWay
sync strategy would only sync on initialization, meaning when the controls were connected to the BindQueryParamsManager
the control values were updated based on the query params but from that point on only the control updated the URL.
This change introduces a new behavior to this strategy which truly matches its name.
The twoWay
will now listen to query param changes and will update the control in case of a value change.
You can still get the old behaviour by using the modelToUrl
strategy in combination with the syncInitialValue
option.
