I've used this example PDF file:

$ peepdf PDF-export-example.pdf
Error: An error has occurred while parsing an indirect object!!

$ qpdf --check PDF-export-example.pdf
checking PDF-export-example.pdf
PDF Version: 1.7
File is not encrypted
File is not linearized
No syntax or stream encoding errors found; the file may still contain
errors that qpdf cannot detect

I get the same error from some of my PDF's. I think it is related to an empty indirect object.
JHOVE reports: "Invalid page dictionary" and references an obj which is empty.
