Group adjacent episodes for the same show in recent episodes

If I download an entire season of a show, each episode gets an entry in the recent episodes list/widget, which can clutter the whole list. Would be great if there was an option to group adjacent episodes, and then get taken to the show's page (if episodes from multiple seasons are grouped) or the season's page (if the episodes are from the same season).

Fairly certain this would have to be implemented in the skin you use, and is not something we can do with this addon

I'm creating the widget from the addon's recent episodes list, not the default kodi video library. The jellycon addon's recent episodes list groups episodes like I described, but I'd rather use this one.
