Unsubscribe link in issue notification emails

I submitted this feature request to GitHub support:

I watch several repositories and currently "unsubscribe" from most uninteresting issues after reading the first notification email by muting the conversation in Gmail.

It would be great to have a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom of issue notification emails that does the same thing as the Unsubscribe button on issue pages.

They responded favorably and said it's been added to their internal feature request list.
