the only other mention i found here about "foss" and "gitlab" was #487 (comment) but it's a very different topic.
it would be unreal (better chances for something to become a reality were seen by dr strange versus thanos) to see github and gitlab collaborating rather than competing!
despite all the benefits associated with rivalry in the traditional market, software and science are very different.
and because i know this is likely too utopian, i probably won't come back to this topic regardless of what happens next.
