In its very basic essence, NewsGenie starts by acting like your
regular RSS reader, i.e. you can start by inputting feeds that
you like to read regularly. To setup this up, we will allow
syncing with Feedly. What separates NewsGenie from other RSS
readers, however, is its ability to start recommending articles
that you would like to read based on the list of RSS feeds that
you follow. Users can rate the recommendations given, and the
ratings will be used to improve future recommendations.
NewsGenie will be accessible both from the Web and also through
smartphone apps.

There will be free and premium tiers available. Free tiers will
be supported by ads tailored based on the interest of the users.
Premium tiers involve subscription, and premium users will enjoy
ad-free experience and also unlimited access to premium content
from premium content providers, such as wsj.com, nytimes.com,
ft.com. We might have one or several levels of premium
subscriptions available, the latter based on the kind of content.
