Don't show terrain to the common map

I want to use two of your modules together in a particular way, and I'm hoping you have some ideas! Enhanced Terrain Layer and Common Map.

I like for the players to be able to see the terrain on their laptops (so it's not just enabled for the GM), but I'd like to have our larger common map displayed without terrain. I can't figure out any way to hide the terrain layer just for one player, at least not without blinding that player/common map entirely.
