How to start?

pip?

git clone then ...

And how to do the first like

load a sample project
load a sample disk
run the first python program and back (not just screen dump)
load and run a sample assembler language

May be annoying to you but I always wonder ... how to start with this...

how to operate a commodore-64 using BASIC V2 / Cbm-DOS, is outside of the scope of this project, help about that is a google action away.

But try:
python start64.py
type in the emulator: dos"$
type: load "gary"
type: run
