Release v2.21.0 works for me in Firefox. But with release v2.22.0 (and the latest release), I can't use my local gateway.

  1. Run a local IPFS gateway. For example http://192.168.1.2:8080
  2. In Firefox (without IPFS Companion), paste a gateway URL, for example http://192.168.1.2:8080/ipfs/bafy...
  3. Firefox loads the link correctly.
  4. Now install the latest IPFS Companion or v2.22.0 (when the problem started).
  5. Paste the same gateway URL
  6. Firefox shows "Unable to reach your IPFS node". (See screen shot.)

Expected behavior
Firefox should load the link correctly, the same as it does when IPFS Companion is not installed.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: macOS 13.1
  • Browser: Firefox 110.0 (64-bit)
  • Version: IPFS Companion v2.22.0

Additional context
I can paste and load the gateway URL when IPFS Companion is installed in Chrome. IPFS Companion only blocks it in Firefox.
