: Need a way to put system to sleep between runs (to allow separation of data) eg., IOMeter “idle” - can be combined with earlier request covering job management

The sleep stages will be added between "individual main stage runs". Do you agree, Yaguang?

Yes, and more generally, I prefer to adding sleep between each stage, which can also support sleep between runs by setting sleep in the last stage in previous run.

Thanks Yaguang. I agree with the "general" sleep-between-each-stage implementation. Paul L and I talked about adding automation to COSbench itself in order to vary the number of drivers (and workers per driver) on each COSbench run. The generic sleep stage will come handy there.
