For example, we want to use a driver (installed as an entry point) instead of this interactive input capture behavior on import.

I have changed the package from interactive to command-line (also updated the tests) and also formatted the docstrings to numpy format. Now I have a pull request for Andrea to comment on during our meeting on 1/14.
