Search for coordinates seem to project these coordinate at the wrong place

According to the same position.

You need to register the 32198 and 3798 projection before.

The resulting position for 32198 and 3798 are wrong.

I'm not sure that MTM could be use the same way as UTM.
MTM-6 255776.67 5389766.47
result in ERROR +proj=mtm +zone=6

Projection must be registered and it's not by default.

For MTM, refer to 32186 and register the proj for your application,
