All the images for the website are stored in an S3 bucket called informatics-webimages. This bucket is pretty messy. There are lots of images at the root level which really should be sorted into the article/yyyy-mm-dd-name directories.
We would probably also benefit from putting the bucket behind CloudFront and giving it a short custom domain, e.g https://i.inlb.co/.
We also need a way of generating smaller versions of the images to use on the website itself. Many images can be very large. We could possibly add a grunt task which does some local image manipulation and then uploads multiple versions of the same image for use on the website.
