Hi, thank you for the wawypoints There are a couple of issues i am noticing with the waypoints however, Right here, the two waypoints flush with the wall are not connected to the larger part of the map, (they are ONLY linked to each other), this is bad because the bots will not know how to get to and from these waypoints. When making intersections, you gotta make sure to link the waypoints, There are some nonsensical links, (even some going through walls) I think this is because you had autolink enabled, and when you create a waypoint, it automatically links the waypoint to the last waypoint created When making/adding in intersection waypoints, make sure to unlink the two ends These are some things to keep in mind when creating new waypoints. I can fix up the ones you've provided. Thanks again for your contribution! |
I know what happened with this one. The first three issues or so you brought up, I had already fixed them and just forgot to update the file that was meant to be uploaded here. Apologies. In terms of the intersection photo (last pair of photos), I leave those linked like that so the bots have minor differences in the pathing they will take in certain areas. It makes them a little more lifelike, so that they don't always follow the exact same path to get to a location if there are multiple points connected to it. Hardhat will be a getting a fix soon from me as well, because down by the "A Flag" spawn in the corner, they get stuck on the metal. |
Ahhh I forgot about that drop! I'm so sorry! xD @ineedbots I 100% meant to remove that one when I went through the maps earlier and fixed stuff up. If you haven't seen it yet, there is another point that needs fixing on that map coming out of A spawn on Domination. There is a path connected to the balcony that I meant to remove as well. But I forgot to open Lockdown earlier. |

Hardhat has two spots that I forgot to unlink as well. Both are drops near C flag. @ineedbots |
I ended up using @super23 hardhat waypoints, so no worries |
Awesome! I just wanted to bring it up just in case. Future pathed maps of mine should no longer have any awkward waypoints. I've been learning the tool throughout the process, so I think I am at the point to where I can make maps without any pathing issues moving forward. |

Is there a tool to quickly convert csv waypoint files back to gsc format? I found some ported maps for plutonium IW5. Copy pasting gsc waypoint from IW4X botwarfare worked for Shipment. But Summit and others only have csv. |
Need to add csv loading and replace all waypoints to use csv format |
I should mention the hardhat waypoints i did for mw3 were at the beginning when no waypoints were available. They For sure could use a v2 if anyone is up for it. I may end up feeling re motivated to do a V2 on hardhat maybe other maps too! With using all the features. I need bots for sure in my cod games! |
