Use the guideline style and principles of C++ guideline

As a general rule, a guideline is best utilised if it creates a common language, gives context and is based on consensus. I found the C++ guideline very informative and well organised.

It introduces categories, reference numbers for easy referencing (including tools, books and blogs). I think this Rest guideline could benefit from the core principles of the C++ one.
