Hey, I have a Dungeon Synth project and I thought it might a cool idea if my albums come with an "official fHeroes2 map" - unfortunately it's currently impossible to change the OST for just that one map.
What I'd like to propose is to have a feature in the map editor that opens a table with the 40-somehting songs of the OST and you can click on to give them a listen (so you'd know which one is which); and then you type in the filename song you want to replace it with. Players would have to download the map's custom OST in the correct format and drop it in a folder (separately or already embedded in the download repository); the game would override the tracks of the default OST with the custom song if available - ideally the map still works as normally if you don't have the official soundtrack.
A lot of people in the Dungeon Synth scene are fans of old school RPG and strategy games - so it would be cool to have music embedded in the custom map. And in general, it would be interesting to see in what direction people are going to take this feature.
