The beginning of the combat.
Sandro's army seems to be weak compared to Flint's army with its powerful Titans in quite large numbers.
But Sandro has good stats and a number of spell points consequent, but not really necessary, to defeat his opponent.
Sandro can also count on the "Summon Earth Elemental" spell and the ability of the Vampire Lords to reanimate themselves from their opponent's decimated creatures.
Flint's Attack and Defense stats are not as high as Sandro's and he doesn't have many spell points.
This is a real advantage for Sandro not to be neglected in a combat.
Vampire Lords will suffer at the beginning of the combat, but by using their ability to reanimate themselves this problem can be solved later on by employing the right combat tactics.
The Vampire Lords troop was greatly diminished while waiting for the Earth Elementals to make contact with the Titans.
It's time to use their ability by selecting the best opposing troop to reanimate as many Vampire Lords as possible.
The Rocs are the best candidates.
Earth Elementals only attack Titans with their direct attack (excluding retaliation).
The other troops of the opponent are used by the Vampire Lords to reanimate themselves.
Skeletons do not take part in the combat, it is useless to lose them stupidly.
An attack of opportunity on the Titans will also reanimate many Vampire Lords.
A Titan is decimated, 300 Hit points recovered for the Vampire Lords, that's 7 Vampire Lords reanimated in one attack.
The Vampire Lords troop is back to its starting quantity of the beginning of the combat, 31 Vampire Lords.
Sandro wins the combat by not losing any of his standard starting troops, only Earth Elementals have been decimated, but that is not important.
A single "Summon Earth Elemental" spell was cast, more than enough to annihilate the entire opposing army with the help of the Vampire Lords.
A second “Summon Earth Elemental” spell could have been cast eventually if the first hadn't been enough, but only when the first Earth Elementals were nearly wiped out, and this without consuming too many Spell Points.
Sandro won the combat without a loss and spending only 15 Spell Points.
It is noted, that the opposing hero could also have fled at the end of the combat, but he did not.
