This is an improvement upon nderkach's couchsurfing-python, with support for hangouts API.
some of the new functions:
-
Retrieve available hangouts:
api.get_hangouts()
-
Request to hangout with someone:
request_hangout(userID)
There is also an exemplary main inlcuded, which filters the available users to fit in a certain age, and sends then a hangout request.
UPDATE: this package is not actively mainated anymore
I also wrote a guide (https://www.toptal.com/back-end/reverse-engineering-the-private-api-hacking-your-couch) about the techniques I used to reverse engineer this and other APIs.
