OS: Arch linux
Kernel: 6.12.6-arch1-1
DE/Compositor: Hyprland
Login Manager: Hyprlock with Hypridle
Graphics: Integrated AMD Graphics
CPU: AMD 5500U

The entire display flickers after i wake up my computer from a long sleep (about 3-6 hours)

This behavior is pretty consistent in my laptop (only after long sleep works fine for shorter ones) another discord member in Hyprland Discord server reported to have a similar problem but, theirs was not consistent.

Here is a recording of issue

This is not a Hyprlock problem, as it happens even if i log in. The display just stops output after flicker in increasing number of times.

I would add more details after testing the behavior (like if am able to use laptop without display output and such)

Update:

This happens even when i remove my laptop from charging when its 100% charged, but after display goes dark, if i replug the charger, display lights up again.

Also having this issue consistently. And I'm also using Arch (hypridle installed via pacman) and also on an AMD Graphics card.

Yep, it works normally, the screen is just off. I haven't tested yet, but it's very likely that issuing a hyprctl dispatch dpms on would bring the screen back. But to me, the odd part is the abrupt change in brightness.

Actually, I don't think this is an issue with hypridle. It must be an issue with core Hyprland, since I wasn't running hypridle, but ran into the bug.
