While i was importing local files from a directory with "delete original files" button checked, hydrus crashed unexpectedly, it did not show an error message.
when i restarted the client it prompted me start from the last session when i clicked yes and went to the import page and clicked "resume" it showed 58 files as ignored all with the "Source file does not exist!" note.
i realized that the client had actually imported the files into "hydrus_files" dir but does not have a record of them in the actual db.
so instructed the client to find orphan files, that's how i recovered 29 of the 58 files.
