Persona 3 Portable Blank Screen

I'm going through my first play through in P3P and so far it was great until I get to 11/9 where Ryoji first appears. The screen is just blank here but the sound and everything else is working. I'm not sure what the problem is and I don't really know how to fix this. Help please? Thank you.

I'm using V 0.9.6

Windows 7
Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
System type: 63 bit OS

Try again using the latest build from the buildbot (http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/) and report back please.

EDIT:- It'd also help if you could provide your savefiles of the game right before the issue occurs so that other testers/devs can help with the issue.

Already tried it and the same thing happened. Even tried begging it to work but no dice. Just black screen and sound.

Did you try to save and reload (without savestates involved?). Also try to turn off fast memory.

Uhm... I used a skip the day cheat just to get past it and get my first play through over with but it would seem that beginning 11/12 is also not possible. I'll try to get my save game up here ASAP.

Edit: My brother is playing the male MC with no problems whatsoever. :/

11/9 is when it goes blank for me. It has sounds and the emulator doesn't crash but nothing else.

11/9 date that's about 2 days off. Sorry I couldn't get the exact time since I only use the save states to answer questions correctly.

Reload your game with a normal save and the problem should solve itself i'd guess. I had some trouble with it too like this when using cheats.

I have seen this issue as well. I found that if you go to the menu and return back to the game, it knocks everything back into place and you get visuals back. This isn't a fix, though, because it eventually does it again.

Was that savedata using cheats,still hangup on next day,even on PSP.

If it happens even on a PSP, then it does sound like something was done to corrupt the savedata.

Without any feedback or information, it's hard to tell. I know some people have said this game is fully playable, though a few people have reported crashes. It may be that the crashes are all cheat related, but we're not getting feedback after we ask if cheats have been used.

I'm going to close this. If you have more information, or a way to reproduce this that definitely doesn't involve cheats, please comment so we can reopen.

At the time I played it, there was no cheat file used and nothing special to cause it. I haven't played this one since shortly after my last comment in Jan. 2014, but I remember there not being any crash. That's all the info I have and far from a reason to justify reopening it.
