Using Flatpak Firefox, after clicking save for current site, a windows pop up for each container, yet on some of them the save button has no effect at all and can only be exited out by pressing the escape key, making it impossible to save for contain containers.

Are you sure this is related to Flatpak? I was able to trigger this behavior by changing the window focus with multiple containers. Example:

  1. Create multiple Firefox containers. Select to export ALL, the windows will appear in the following order:
  2. Save file for "Container First" (shown in background)
  3. Save file for "Container Last" (appeared last, shown in foreground)
  4. Now if I click on the "Container First" file dialog, I can no longer interact with it, because it's supposed to be overshadowed by the "Container Last" window, which again, is supposed to be always in front.

I suspect this may be a window manager issue?

The extension works with containers.
E.g. I have a container called “Google”. When I save cookies using the extension, it saves 2 files:

  • cookies.txt (no container)
  • cookies.Google.txt (Google container)

I hope this helps. Firefox 131 for Fedora
