@pgiraud Could you Please provide me with the link where the message with @mention shows the id and not the username.
After looking at the message.mako file, see (https://github.com/hotosm/osm-tasking-manager2/blob/master/osmtm/templates/message.mako#L20) I think the username should appear.

Actually, the user_id appears in the message body:

We should use something like in the task_history template:

see message http://tasks.hotosm.org/message/read/1849:

@2381194 reverted undelete [...]

with plain id and no link.

but initial comment on http://tasks.hotosm.org/project/752#task/279 is:

@althio reverted undelete [...]

and @althio includes link to user page.
