This extension can't handle "+" or "&" signs in urls
"+" get converted to a space and anything after & is omitted.
you can work around this by encoding them but in my case this isn't a good enough solution unfortuantely

This is related #110 but the op is mistaken as it has nothing to do with caching.
#104 is also related
last update was 2 years ago unfortunately I don't have hope for this to be ever fixed or updated anymore, hopefully someone will fork it.

I would recommend trying to use the alpha version (available under releases, signed by Mozilla so still safe). Once I started using the bookmark generation tool from that version and closed/reopened the browser after disabling the old version of the addon, everything worked perfectly regardless of special characters (which it seems to use a slightly different style of URL encoding to handle), hence my note about caching.
