Hi

I am trying to make this work on a Mac M1 (ARM64) and it doesnt work. The vdi provided for virtualbox (in osx you need to install vmware fusion) is not recognised as a valid disk, probably because of the arm architecture

Is there any way to make this work in a Mac M1?

A similar question came up already in #1549 and #1050. At this point ARM64 virtualization is still a bit a niche thing. But I'd definitly review and merge such a PR 😄

Yes it is possible with UTM and the generic aarch64 build:
