I just contacted U-tec support about their "ubolt Pro Zwave" product. The “current status of the latch” remains “open” / "Unavailabel" . They said this was “not necessarily a known issue” but was probably on the Zwave controller side.

I am using Z-wave JS through Home assistant. Home assistant website states "U-tec, their parent company, is a member of the Works with Home Assistant partner program. This means they are committed to making sure the Ultraloq Z-Wave products are up-to-date and ready to use with Home Assistant… This badge should be removed from the home assistant website. See the thread on U-tec website with other users having the same issue

Can we use this supposed partnership to pressure U-Tec into a fully functioning z-wave integration?

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved.

I bought 3 locks due to the badge.

Same here, chose this lock over others due to the promised better integration with HA. So far pretty disappointed.

I guess it's my fault though - I forgot about the rule around not purchasing hardware counting on future software updates.

According to this: zwave-js/node-zwave-js#5445 the issue has been resolved with their latest firmware update (1.5 or possibly 1.5.3).

Is there a chance this will be reinstated in the Works with Home Assistant program?
