I'm new to the scde and I'm still working through the tutorial. I have 2 very naive questions and would appreciate if you could enlighten me:
is it normal to see genes that have exactly the same MLEs (and even CIs)? I see blocks of genes that share the same values over and over again.
why is the mle different when you look at the full transcriptome vs single gene? I notice this in the tutorial: for Tdh the mle is 8.03544 alone and 8.075220 in ediff.
Many thanks
Brian
