Make the necessary information clear to the user when reviewing the sidebar when they are within a community. The user should be able to see what their active address is within a community, as well as the addresses that are not active.
The order of toggles is:
Discussion
Admin Capabilities
Members
Directory
Snapshot (if enabled)
Topic naming context:
When a topic is created the default is the “#,” this is only different if it is Gated and/or a Contest
When A topic is gated, it has a lock icon
If the topic is in an active contest, it will have a trophy icon.
If a topic is gated AND active contest, the trophy icon is used.
Topics should be scrollable, they should be listed based on alphabetical name
When more than 9 new pieces of content are on a topic, the notification number becomes 9+. Do Not Show the Notifications Icons For Now
The user can share the community directly to discord, twitter, farcaster, or telegram by clicking any of the social icons at the bottom of the sidebar.
A user will have unread notifications on the sidebar for each thread if there is new content within the thread.
If a user is not logged in and viewing a community, the sidebar navigation is still present; however there are no notifications.
As a user, if i have multiple compatible addresses connected to my account and I am within a community, and I remove my active address, I am automatically switched over to a remaining compatible address.
As a user, If i have one compatible address and I am using that as an active address, and I remove it, I am prompted to choose whether I want to leave the community or not. If I do remove the address, I leave the community.
so discussing this ticket with Tim. I think we should only update the UI of the sidebar, and not include the bold on unread / notifications red Icon
The TLDR is
Too much work on platform side rn (because we don’t want to rely on Knock)
Does this make sense?
