It would be best for users to have this provider's features into the official terraform-provider-google.

I first thought the maintainers were against it due to this issue that was closed: hashicorp/terraform-provider-google#1724

But a new issue was created and it is still open so maybe it was a misunderstanding: hashicorp/terraform-provider-google#5698

That would make this provider obsolete, but that's not a problem.
