This has been released in version 0.7.0 of the provider. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading. As an example: provider "azuread" {

This basically sets the provider free to receive future SDK updates from the standalone SDK repo without having to deal with conflicting Azure dependencies and also allows AzureRM to migrate to this SDK since AzureRM depends on AzureAD.
No new acceptance test failures reported after this patch.
