Also, I'm not sure if this is required but if the existing CloudWatch resources (Dashboards/Alarms) can be tweaked to support metrics from other accounts that would be appreciated :) |

This functionality has been released in v4.62.0 of the Terraform AWS Provider. Please see the Terraform documentation on provider versioning or reach out if you need any assistance upgrading. Description
New offering within CloudWatch called "Cross-Account Observability" similar to the legacy "Cross-Account dashboards" but supposed to be better just launched recently: https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2022/11/amazon-cloudwatch-cross-account-observability-multiple-aws-accounts/
With it, AWS has introduces the "Observability Access Manager" service for managing and linking accounts to sinks: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/OAM/latest/APIReference/Welcome.html
