Have you ever tried to find some meme or media that you don't know how to search for? Instead, if you could describe it, there would be a model that can search your description through social media. I am thinking that this project can push the concept of becoming a media search engine in social media by integrating it with their APIs.

Do you think it would be possible?

And if you wish, I would love to contribute to this.

Hey, this is possible theoretically, but my experience with Social Media APIs suggests this might be a bit difficult. I've done integrations both with X and Instagram recently and they are both very restrictive and/or expensive for this use case. Basically, they don't want to give you access to all of their data, even less nowadays in the context of LLMs, where many people are trying to train models on recent data.

Otherwise I agree - I often try to find some image I saw based on its description, but struggle with that. Another option may be something like Rewind AI that records your screen and lets you search in what you saw. I find it too creepy to allow another company to have that access to my data though
