#6525 fixes a breakage in pybind11 2.8+ but maintains compatibility with 2.6.2, which is in Debian and which we were using. To avoid future breakages, we should build against both our minimum required version (probably the Ubuntu-provided one) and trunk pybind11 (with latest stable LLVM, say... not all of them)
