Overview

We need to outline the requirements for the Time Card Dashboard to ensure clear priorities, resource allocation, and effective management as we move forward with development.

    • Notes: The process worked fine as long as the interns remembered to fill in the form to time out once done, which they often forgot to. Requirements

• Spreadsheet Dashboard - Time Card - Competitive or Comparative Analysis
• Through discussion with Rabia (the original dashboard builder/maintainer), we determined that the V2 makeup entry required too much manual intervention. Additionally, it was too similar to a job where you have to clock in/out, instead of how contract tech workers report their hours via a weekly reporting tool.

Had a conversation with Rabia 2024-11-06 about how much time she put into fixing their makeup times during 2022 Cohort. We think we should move to a model where

• they fill out the time card daily via a spreadsheet, but they can see and edit the whole week.
• the time card sheet is swept off to another folder, which they can't edit
• all the time cards for future weeks are already in their folder
• the program manager could manually edit the time card, if required, but the user has to request the change via meeting.
• the time card model will be more similar to a standard consulting form, except that it will have the breakdown of where the time was spent.
• daily reminder in the Slack channel
