Overview

Our website needs to be free of misspellings so that our reputation for quality is maintained. In this issue you will audit Figma screens for any misspellings and report them to development to correct them in the Hack for LA site.

Action Items

  • Identify which Figma plugin for catching spelling errors that you think the team should use and document (in the comments of this issue) why you think this is the best plugin.
  • Use the Current Pages page in Figma and audit the latest designs (in red container)to identify any misspellings. Do this for both desktop and mobile screens.
  • Compare findings to the live Hack for LA site for any misspellings you may have come across in Figma.
  • Correct any misspellings you may come across on the Current Pages page and each individual page within Figma. Record the results in a H4LA Google spreadsheet that development can use to correct them on the website.
  • Add link to Spreadsheet in the resources section below.

Hi @IsaacDesigns.

Please don't forget to add the proper labels to this issue. Currently, the labels for the following are missing:
Feature

To add a label, take a look at Github's documentation here.

Also, don't forget to remove the "missing labels" afterwards.
To remove a label, the process is similar to adding a label, but you select a currently added label to remove it.

After the proper labels are added, the merge team will review the issue and add a "Ready for Milestone" label once it is ready for prioritization.

@tamalatrinh this issue will have pages in the Resources/Instructions section that you can't find on the live H4LA site

Update: I tried SPELL, Spellchecker, and CopyDoc test kit. I decided to go with CopyDoc because it was the easiest to use. Corrected the misspellings in Figma. Linked the spreadsheet as well.
