Since we are establishing error and warning messaging, content would like to discuss what this would look like in the context of our app.

Action Items

• Check off these boxes as they are done and document progress and updates in the comments below
• Research any best practices around content warnings
• Discuss with content team how to best warn users
• Consider which page(s) are appropriate
• Add findings from Before You Begin Warning Content #1140 and Oops Reminder Content #1154
• Describe best practices and findings in content guidelines
• Reach out for feedback from the Content team
• Iterate once the content audit is complete
• Once finalized tag "ready for content lead"

This issue was set up for content to discuss how to approach warning messages across EA's website - but since content is already deep in the iterations of the warning messages, this issue is going to be migrated into the CG epic and have a section dedicated to the tone of warning messages going forward.
