Overview

We need to identify key users and create user journey maps to understand user needs and pain points in creating design systems for Hack LA projects.

Action Items

• Identify key users (roles, expertise level etc..)
• Assign a team member a user or discuss how the user research will be divided
• Research Lead to create an Issue for each user, (information provided by assignee)
• Discuss with team our interview goals
• Discuss how insights are going to be gathered and collated
• Create interview script and questions [At this point reference Accessibility  #32]
• Recruit key users to interview, add their details to the document below
• Decide how insights are to be collected and collated
• Interview key users
• Collate findings and gather insights
• Create draft persona's
• Create draft user journey map
• Present findings to the team
• Design final persona documentation
• Design final customer journey maps

Questions to find out from project teams:

• How many live project teams are running
• How many are using a design system
• How many want to use a design system
• How many people in each team
• How many people in total have worked on a single project
• How long the project has been running
• What is the breakdown of the team

@Leah0996 Hi Leah! This is an old issue and as you can see it sat in our icebox for a long time and no one has ever started working on this. I recommend exploring issues that are in the "Done" or "in progress" columns of our main Kanban board.
