Overview

Provide collateral for the HackforLA website. This will be very similar to the project cards, but will be specific to Communities of Practice (Data Science, Ops, etc).

Action Items

  • Gather items
    • 600 x 400 image
      • Alt image text
    • 1500 x 700 hero image (please do not put CoP title on hero image)
      • Alt image text
    • Name of project
    • A blurb about your CoP
    • Links (github, slack channel url, Testing Site, Live Site, etc.)
    • Any resources for a Getting Started link (a link to a wiki, readme(s) or both)
    • What you are looking for skills wise
    • Partner(s)
    • Location
    • Status
  • Add CoP card to website

@akhaleghi I turned the above into new content on the wiki and filled it out to the best of my ability. I recommend you making issue for the stuff that's missing (Ryan's and your bios's, etc.)

Re the member highlights. I realized we have a place for that already and we just need to make an issue for getting people from the Data Science community of practice to do it. See the link in the wiki

  2. Blockers: "Difficulties or errors encountered."
  3. Availability: "How much time will you have this week to work on this issue?"
  4. ETA: "When do you expect this issue to be completed?"
  5. Pictures or links* (if necessary): "Add any pictures or links that will help illustrate what you are working on."
  • remember to add links to the top of the issue if they are going to be needed again.
