Overview

We need to create a draft template for recruitment as part of any research plan, finalize and then create an issue template. The recruitment encompasses, but is not limited to: Identification of recruitment channels, Messaging for each type of channel and Interest forms.

Action Items

  • Create a draft template below
  • Get review and approval
  • Create the issue template
    Use this information while creating the template issue:
    • name of template: YJN: Research Plan Recruitment
    • about: this will serve as a template for creating internal research plan issues for each research type
    • Issue default title: [YJN: RP00_: Recruitment _]
    • Assignees:
    • Labels:

### Overview

We need to follow a recruitment strategy for [Name of Research] in order to reach potential UX researchers to help with the execution of the research plan.

### Action Items
- [ ] Use #93 to create a selection criteria for each role type and determine who needs to be recruited
- [ ] Identify recruitment channels
   - [ ] Duplicate the RP00_ UX Recruitment tab in the YJN: UXR Recruitment Pipelines spreadsheet
   - [ ] Rename with related research number
   - [ ] Select channels to reach out to
   - [ ] Update column A and B with relevant information
- [ ] Create interest forms
   - [ ] Make a copy of the YJN: Research: UX Researcher Interest Form
   - [ ] Name the copy using the naming convention [YJN: RP00_: Research Plan UX Researcher Interest Form]
   - [ ] Go to the main research folder on the YJN shared drive
   - [ ] Find the relevant folder for this research
   - [ ] Move your document from "My Drive" to the relevant research folder
   - [ ] Add link to new research form in resources
   - [ ] Customize according to the research plan
- [ ] Create messaging for each type of channel
   - [ ] Make a copy of the YJN: UXR Recruitment Messaging Template
   - [ ] Add link to resources
   - [ ] Update document with messaging script for chosen channels (include relevant interest form and wiki page links)
   - [ ] Reach out with customized script to each channel
- [ ] Recruit the UX researchers
   - [ ] Monitor for responses
   - [ ] Select UX researchers
   - [ ] Send acceptance letters
      - [ ] Use the copy of the YJN: Email Text Template for this research plan or create one if you haven't already
      - [ ] Customize with acceptance message
      - [ ] Send using mail merge  
- [ ] Update relevant WIKI page (See resources)
