Overview

We need to find all the different versions of the Info Architecture, identify/rename them by type and provide proper share access so that we can be ready for our workshop with the stakeholders.

Action Items

  • find the different versions of the Info Architecture
  • identify differences in comment
  • rename appropriately
  • provide proper share access

Updates to Legal Content

  • we are going to change all font to Open Sans 14 in all documents

Section 1: Help Me

  • Names of pages are too long. Each can only be 17 characters or less before its gets cut off

Police Encounters

  • the first paragraph in the 1.1 doc will replace Text here about this page
  • 1.1 Introduction & 1.2 Rights during Stops
    • The bullets should be moved to another document named What to know before you get stopped, because it makes more logical sense with the other dropdowns on the page

    • the rest of the 1.1 document should be content for 1.2 and its content moved to subsections

      RIGHTS DURING STOPS
▪️ Constitutional Right Against Unreasonable Stops, Searches and Seizures
▪️ Temporary Stops for Suspicion of Criminal Conduct (Terry Stop)
▪️ Police Stops that Only Apply to Youth: Truancy and Curfews
      ▪️ Suspected Truancy
      ▪️ Suspected Curfew Violations

    • the new What to know before you get stopped document should have the bullet spacing as single, add space after list item
    • note: this heading could really benefit from videos
  • 1.3 Rights during searches and seizures
    • the 1st two paragraphs should be under this heading
    • the rest of the content from the doc, starting with Pat-Downs, should be subheadings
    • note: when the site is published, we will use the anchors to link Searches at Your Home from the Parent's page
  • 1.4 Officer's Options
    • the 1st and last paragraphs should go under the main heading
    • the numbered items should be subheadings, see: ALT 1.4 Officer's Options
  • 1.5 Rights during Police Custody
    • in order to be consistent with other headings
      • 1st section gets revised to divide up document with subheadings see alt version ALT 1.5 Rights during Police Custody
        • new content will need to be added at the top
        • the existing content will be made into subheadings
  • 1.6 Witnessing Police Abuse or Brutality
    • in order to be consistent with other headings & subheadings, we have created an alt version 1.6 Witnessing Police Abuse or Brutality
      • Defined the content that should be in the heading
      • reformatted the document to make each of grouping of similar bulleted items into a separate subheading
