Hello,

I have created a new hidden SSID with no encryption and tried to enable MAC filtering to allow one MAC address of a device. The device was not able to connect to the network. Disabling macfilter, the device connected straight away.

This was done in LuCI, but I also checked /etc/config/wireless, the options were added there, run 'wifi' command and even rebooted multiple times. In paralel, other devices connect to a different SSID on the same device, with WPA and no macfilter for example, without any issues.

I am pretty sure this was working in your previous months build, as was using the same configuration before.

Device is TP-Link WDR3600 (same issue on Archer C7v5), build 2020 MAY.

Can you try to use this guide to configure the macfilter?

LuCI being changed and broken rapidly might be unreliable.
