Render an animation

If I have a spritesheet, Animation and AnimationController, how can I tell the game to render it at a certain location?

Hey there,
I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to achieve here:
Do you want to render an entity on the environment such as a mob or prop, or are you looking for a possibility to render animated ui elements in a fixed location?

In this particular case it's about some fire animation when a cannon is being shot. I can calculate the cannon tip, but have no clue on how to make the animation appear at this given location.
No worries about response times :D

You would usually use an ~~~~AnimationEmitter for things like gun flares.
Create a class ~~CannonFireEmitter that inherits from the AnimationEmitter class, then pass some Spritesheet to the constructor and -if necessary- override ~~createNewParticle() for custom behaviour such as fading, for example:
~~```java~~public class CannonFireEmitter extends AnimationEmitter { public CannonFireEmitter(Point2D origin) { super(Resources.spritesheets().get("cannon-fire"), origin); } @Override protected Particle createNewParticle() { final Particle p = super.createNewParticle(); p.setFade(true); p.setDeltaY(-0.7f); p.setDeltaX(0.5f); return p; }```` Instantiate the Emitter like this: ```javafinal CannonFireEmitter boom = new CannonFireEmitter(point);
Game.world().environment().add(boom);````
